Standard T&C of Sales

By placing Orders through ECZ website or purchasing products either from ECZ website or Over the ECZ Counter, by default all the Customers agree the below ECZ Standard Terms & Conditions of Sales:

 “ECZ Standard Warranty Policy” is applicable to specific lighting & electronics items where we clearly mention the specific warranty period in the product descriptions. In that case, we provide a “Warranty Card” with those products with detail instructions about warranty Terms & Conditions or mention clearly in the Invoice about “Warranty Period” for that specific products. For the products we did not declare any Warranty, will not be eligible to claim Warranty from ECZ. For any DIY or Décor & lifestyle items, ECZ warranty coverage is not applicable. ECZ Standard Warranty Policy includes but not limited to below Terms & Conditions:

  • The Customers will be solely responsible for their purchase decisions or actions, whether it is discussed with ECZ or not. In any case, ECZ will not hold any responsibility for any Customer’s purchase decision.
  • Since ECZ do not manufacture any item themselves, so ECZ will not be legally liable for OEM’s declared specifications or any mismatch in specifications between OEM’s documentation/declaration vs actual product specification.
  • ECZ provides free advice to their Customers according to their best knowledge or expertise.  The Customers cannot blame or make ECZ legally liable for any decision by any means.
  • Products once purchased, change of mind is not acceptable or cannot be replace with another different items, provided that in case of damaged or faulty items, it will be changed/replaced with same or nearly same or higher-quality another products within same product category. If ECZ fails to change/replace the items(s), Customer is bound to accept full refund from ECZ.
  • If any product’s manufacturer declares any local or international Warranty, it will not affect or have any relations with ECZ Warranty declarations or Standard T&Cs.
  • In any case, ECZ decision will be considered final and cannot be challenged by anyone. By purchasing ECZ item(s), all Customers agrees above Terms & Conditions.

Product Warranty

For the products we did not declare any Warranty, will not be eligible to claim Warranty from ECZ. For any DIY or Décor & lifestyle items, ECZ warranty coverage is not applicable. ECZ Standard Warranty Policy includes but not limited to below Terms & Conditions:

  • Products with Warranty is valid for specific electrical or mechanical fault or malfunction.
  • Warranty is invalid for breakage of glass or any damage due to wrong or miss-handling while installation or accidental damage(s).
  • Warranty is invalid for any regular wear & tear of the product.
    Warranty is invalid if the light flickers due to CANBUS or Load-resistor issue.
  • For each warranty claim, ECZ will investigate the issue & reserves the full right to accept or decline the warranty claim of the customer.
  • If the warranted product gets out of stock or short of supply from manufacturer, a close-matched or higher quality another brand replacement will be provided.
  • In case of replacement of the product, customer must return the original or affected item(s) intact. If anything is missing, warranty will become invalid.
  • ECZ keeps full right to amend or delete or add or subtract one or more conditions to existing warranty Terms & Conditions.
  • Customers who did not fully settled payment for ECZ products, will not be eligible to claim any warranty.

Quality Control

ECZ is very careful choosing a product from product selection, technical specs, performance feedback, users feedback to customer satisfaction rating etc. Even for a world-renowned brands/product, one in every thousand (or even more or less) may malfunction or get out of service. We know this reality. We don’t want to see our valuable clients has to tackle of this “One In Every Thousand” theory. So, for every electronics and lighting items we provide replacement warranty. As long as you are with ECZ, stay relaxed and enjoy peace of mind!

Although ECZ QC Team inspects, not all specs about an electronic or lighting items possible to check since generally each spec needs separate testing machine to evaluate. To some extent, likewise you; ECZ also has to rely on renowned manufacturers documentation. For example, some LED lighting chips lifespan is mentioned 50,000Hrs+ by the OEM (original manufacturer), which is not possible to verify by ECZ. Likewise you, ECZalso trust those world-renowned brands like CREE, Philips, Bridgelux, CSP, Osram etc. for their declared or projected lifespan forecast. Another issue is, LED light brightness measured in Lumens which is published/declared by the relevant manufacturers. CurrentlyECZ don’t have the precision instruments to check the brightness (on behalf of the customers).

Know-How

Q. What to choose LED vs HID?

A: Well, basic light beam pattern mainly depends on your vehicles headlamps design or reflecting curvature. As good as the headlamp design is, as minimum as the light wastage and utilizes full lights coming out from a bulb. As per ECZ observation, if you are looking for an evenly distributed light pattern (near or far), LED is the best. If your choice is for the beam pattern like a torch, HID is for you. If you consider economic option, LED is best since its lifetime is great, usually 30,000Hrs to 50,000Hrs+. For a HID, lifetime usually only 3,000Hrs. For a normal quality Halogen bulb, lifetime is mostly 300Hrs only. HID lights color tone gets changing/fade out with respect to time or use. But LED is much consistent in this issue. LED headlights has better resistance to shock, dust even water contact, but HID is more prone to be damaged. Finally, the decision is yours!

 

Q. What are the main factors for LED lights?

A: 

– LED chip’s brand: LED chips from world famous brands has consistency in performance and are less hazardous to health from radiation. 

– Cooling System: Good RPM cooling fan is must to extent LED chips lifespan. 

– Waterproof Rating, Dust-proof, Shock-proof: Tthe more IP rating means better survival chance in harsh weather conditions like Bangladesh weather. 

– Brightness & Color Tone: Brightness is a per your need. Extreme Brightness may cause blindness for the incoming traffic or driver. Which is illegal also. Color tone represents the color of light it delivers. Starting from 3000k, it may be 10,000k or more. The higher the Blueish, the lower the Yellowish. Blueish color is beautiful and may workable for city driving. For Off-road or highway driving 6000k or less color tone is suggested. 

– Watt & Ampere rating: Higher means brighter, but more prone to higher heat dissipation, LED chips burn-out or less life existence. Higher electrical rating means higher load on your battery, ultimately reduces battery life as well. 

– LED chip’s lifespan: The more the value, the more consistent it is.

 

Q. If I have OEM Halogen bulbs, can I upgrade to LED or HID?

A: You can upgrade to LED headlights immediately without any modification or additional items. But, to upgrade to HID bulbs, you need to install HID ballast kit for each bulb in your vehicle. After installing HID ballast kit once, you can continue using HID bulbs

 

Q. What about when you find a same/similar Product in the local market?

A: This issue is common, finding look-alike or similar looking products in local market. Sometimes, few ECZ customers inform that they found almost same products in the local market at much cheaper price. ECZ politely informs that, similar look products doesn’t mean the same products. In the world market, although most of the products are made in China, but quality of those products ships to USA/Europe/Middle-East market is not same as the quality of the same products ships to Asian markets. For example, for a LED headlight, if the locally available light has the same outside Aluminum body comparing to any one of ECZ sold headlight products, it does not mean that the products are both same. If the local item has cheap inferior LED chips installed in the same looking body, a general customer would never recognize it. Sometimes, those locally available cheap LED Chips-made lights may look brighter than ECZ products, fact that possibly those LED chips lifetime is greatly sacrificed to boost their normal brightness by manipulating electrical parameters. Furthermore, using a LED light made of cheap inferior LED chips may become a hazardous source of radiation for you, apparently for the environment.

Do ECZ accepts COD?

Yes, ECZ accepts COD payment option only for order value Taka 1,000/= or more.

What is the difference between ECZ vs Daraz website order for same items?

ECZ do not offer any product Warranty that ordered from Daraz website. But for ECZ own website orders, it offers Warranty subjected to that the product is eligible.

Do ECZ offers free home delivery?

ECZ offers free home delivery for any order value equal or higher than Taka 1,200/=

ECZ hotline/customer care number is open everyday 9am to 9pm, except govt. holidays. We remain fully closed on govt. holidays. You can place orders anytime any day 24/7.
